SNOWSTORM.

well, it snowed buckets on friday night, while becky and i sat at work twiddling our thumbs because WHO THE FUCK GOES OUT TO BUY FISH & CHIPS IN A BLIZZARD?!

and now today its snowing too :)

it's also like -20 degrees - WHOO!

i had my last day of work yesterday. well, until the 31st haha. but thats a nice chunk of time off. i feel a little guilty, but...oh well.

i guess i've been recruited to help with front of house for A Christmas Carol today...there are two performances; one at 2 and one at 7:30. whoo.

ah well, its a lot of sitting around.

Last night was amazing.

After work and eating supper, Liam and Thomas came to pick me up. We drove over to Cassie's house; she lives near Marc in the same subdivision.
When we got there, everyone else was already there (we were a bit late). Everyone else being Cassie, Marc, Bryn (Marc's girlfriend), Ella, and Dan.
I spent the first little while watching people play Guitar Hero and then taking a stab (a pitiful one at that) at it myself, while Thomas played Wii with Liam and Marc.
After we were all sufficiently amused by Guitar Hero, we sat down to play Disney Scene it. It was pretty sad that we were all doing badly except for Cassie! And then on one of the all play questions where it slowly reveals the letters, only Marc got that it was The Princess Diaries. He was pretty proud of himself.
By the time we figured Cassie was going to beat us all regardless, it was 9:30 or so. So we all went and got changed in the various rooms in Cassie's crazy basement. Then we went upstairs and out to the hot tub....only we had to walk across a snow-covered porch, down the snow-covered stairs, across a piece of lawn and into the hot tub!! We were all yelling and screaming and holy crap the hot tub made our cold feet burn! And because all 8 of us got in to a fairly small hot tub, the water overflowed and shut it off and we couldn't see to get it back on! So Cassie had to get a flashlight and wade through knee-deep snow to the electrical outlet box thing and turn the hot tub back on!
We sat in the hot tub for a while, just warming up and then it started to snow. Pretty hard. So we were all covered in snow on our heads. Then someone...maybe Liam or Dan, decided we should run around the house (we decided against running to the road because there was a big ditch). So A bunch of us, including me, jumped out and started running around the house (it's a pretty big house)! The first little bit was alright, but BLOODY FREEZING! And then when we got around the front of the house, the snowdrifts were so hight I could barely move! It was crazy!! My legs were burning for the rest of night, but it was crazy fun!!
We stayed in the hot tub a little longer to warm up, and then we realized that we had left our towels and sweaters outside hanging on the railing of the stairs to the porch and now that it was like, blizzarding, they were all covered in snow!! So we ran out of the hot tub, grabbed our towels as fast as we could (I ended up grabbing Bryn's and she grabbed mine), and running inside to huddle by the door and drip dry.
After we all changed back into dry clothes, we played a bit more Guitar Hero and then Dan put in this Arnold movie called True Lies, which we basically just watched because Arnold is hilarious. By the time we were about an hour into the movie, it was already 12 AM, so we turned it off and we all went home (save for Marc and Bryn, who went home a little earlier).
Liam drove me home and I basically collapsed into bed.

Today is a snow day.

I'm not even kidding - buses were canceled on account of the freezing rain (which we tend to get more than snow) and the snow.

Today is November 22nd and it's the second day it's actually snowed.

The kids down the road are playing hockey in the street.


This is Canada.

TODAY I WOKE UP AND LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW AND THERE WAS SNOW.


AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.


This isn't actually the first snow, technically, as it did snow a week or so ago but it was only very VERY small, light flakes you could hardly see and none of it stuck.

This is like full-fledged, snowplow snow. Yeah.

I am so pumped for Costa Rica in 25 days.

Well, today was interesting o__o
I woke up and there was SNOW. LOTS OF SNOW. AND STILL COMING DOWN FAST.

So I went out and waited for the bus with everyone else...FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES. WTF BILL. Apparently he got caught behind a snowplow for 10km and then couldn't get up a hill. It was not nice standing out in that.
So we were late for class. But that was okay, I had a sub for Functions anyway. In class we took a quiz and then did work from the book. Actually noone really worked, and it was freaking insane anyway. Took Kaitlyn and I 25 minutes to get the first question and then we couldn't do anything else @__@

Had a sub again in Anthro (It sucked walking outside, btw) and we did questions from the book. Spent the rest of the class being noisy with Lucas and Thomas XD.

Umm, spent most of lunch with Kaitlyn, because Tanicia had to get a phone card and then Alicia went with her. Ate yogurt for lunch :)
And cookies XD

Worked on our culminating task today in T&T. I think I got a good amount of work done. I was really wanting to do it all on the computer, so it would look nice, but for some reason I couldn't make a graph in excell! D:
I dunno, it wasn't workiiiiingg!
I still have a lot to do for that, though o__o
And we only have 3 days left.

Civics was interesting. We are doing this municipal debate thinger, and I get to be the City Counsellor :/ My group doesn't listen. At least I have Carly and Jaimie. I like them. Spencer, on the otherhand is just...Well, Spencer.

So then I went out to catch my bus and...It wasn't there XD
So finally it came, and then it took us a while to get to my stop, because of all the snow and noone plowing the roads? XD
Yeah, and the sidewalk wasn't plowed either. But we (Emily, Alex, I) saw the plow coming down the sidewalk on the other side of the street, so we waited...And waited. And finally I was like, screw this, and just walked down the road. But Alex and Emily kept waiting, because Emily is on crutches...And the plow didn't cross the street, it just went around the corner XDDDD
So then Alex started yelling at the plow. And then they just walked down the street.
Like 7 minutes later, I took the dog out and the plow was going down the sidewalk XD
Ahaha.

And um, other than that, I have no homework :)
Aaand it's freezing cold!
