so yesterday, asumi, mum, and i went on a shopping extravaganza in ottawa.

we started out at ikea, then proceeded to eat lunch at a japanese restaurant, then stopped at rona, and then went to south keys.

at south keys, we went to chapters, globo, winners, walmart, and saw revolutionary road in the cinema.

at chapters, i was browsing the terry prachett section of the fantasy aisle when this guy comes up beside me. he goes, "wow! every geek's dream - a girl in the fantasy section!"
so i'm like, "err....hahaha *nervous laugh*" and start blushing. then the guy continues going off about this book he was looking for and then informs me when he found it two minutes later and asks me if i've ever heard of it. "noo..."
feeling awkward, i left and found refuge in the bargain cooking section. when all of a sudden i hear a familiar voice behind me: "you like cooking too?!" yeah, it was that guy.
"yess..." i say. he then starts showing me pictures of steak, mentions his desire for summer and bbqs, and then gets all excited about 101 ways to cook pasta.
i run away again, since this guy clearly has something for me.
i go and find asumi, in the music section. i start talking to her, pause, look over, AND THAT GUY IS STANDING BESIDE ASUMI. WTF.
"you're following me!" he says. "noo...you're following me!" i laugh nervously. "oh, you wish i was." he states.
then i REALLY run away, find my mother, and inform her we're leaving. now. because creepy guy is stalking me just a liiiittle too much.

so that was my excitement for the day, ha...

in other news, revolutionary road was, albeit depressing, a pretty good movie. leo dicaprio's not too shabby, really...

Hooray for spending mass amounts of money!
Well I really needed to go shopping before school started because all my time is eaten up by school, Japanese class, and work.

Anyway, we went into Fairweather because there was this really nice handkerchief dress we'd seen there before. Unfortunately the only one left was in green and was a large. I tried it on anyway, but it was a bit long and a bit big in the back. Can't wear a bra with that one o_o

Then we went to Winners, figuring that was the best place. I tried on 3 dresses and bought a cute, simple black dress. Yay! It is very very simple and has a cute diamond-shaped bead accent under the bust. I love it so much.

We visited some other stores (including Booster Juice, ahaha) and I came back with: a while undershirt for school, a black wifebeater undershirt, a pink and grey striped polo, my black dress, a blue shirt with random Chinese on it and flowers, and two bras :)

All in all, very productive.

The first day of school is tomorrow!!!!!!!!!
I'll let y'all know how it went.

C'est les hairs )

Today was fun!

I had my religion exam, which was super easy. I finished it in less than an hour.

Then Alisha, Tanicia, and I went out for lunch to Subway and browsed around the mall for a while.
Went back to school to get our bags and then Tanicia and I headed over to Broadway's to find Brenda. Brenda told us to go away, so we went to shoppers. I bought stuffs for my hairs :)
Then we walked to Mac's and got frosters because we thought Brenda left us.
Then we went with Brenda to Giant Tiger and made fools of ourselves.
And then Brenda drove me home! :)

Work later tonight, and then studying for English!

So, exam!

Went alright, I think. Maybe a 70-something%. It was actually easier than I thought. It was only 3 pages >_<
The first part was listening comprehension. Just circling the right answers. Then there was a grammar section which was 5 or so sentences where you had to put in the right particals o__o. Evil section.
Then there was a section on counter nouns (Which I all got! Surprisingly.) and adjectives.
Then we had to translate a couple paragraphs of Japanese into English. Which was soo hard @_@; Honestly, I guessed on half the sentences. Kanji + major Katakana = Evil.
Lastly we had to write a paragraph in Japanese and chose to write about myself (read: the easier option).

So yeah! Then we practiced the song again and got out early at 11:20.
So mum and I went shopping again XD
I managed to find some boardshorts that will hopefully match my top. Eek >_<
And I also bought 2 graphic tees.
Then I finally got a pair of shorts.
Mum bought a shirt and a jacket and now owes me 72$.

Then work, which was busy and tiring and gjknleefmsdklfd. Like 10 people came in at 5:28. I was like T___T TRYING TO CLOSE HERE GO AWAY.
Blah.

Well!
Today was quite fun.

After Japanese, Mum and I went shopping around for a new coat for me, since mine broke :/
A got a reddish-brown one with a zipper AND buttons. HA! TAKE THAT ZIPPER!
And I also got 2 nice collared shirts for work.

After thaaat we went downtown for Winterlude.
Which was cool. Actually more like freezing, with all the wind.
We were going to skate on the canal, but the line for skates was loooooong and the ice wasn't even slippery. So we just walked.
And we got some hot dogs and hot chocolate for lunch.
Then we went around to look at all the ice sculptures. They are so amazing o__o.

So after walking around and freezing Mum and I headed off to Ikea and Chapters.
We got a bunch of books, 'cause Mum needed to use up a coupon. I got Conrad's Fate (Dianna Wynne Jones) and The Queen's Fool (Philippa Gregory. She wrote The Other Boleyn Girl).

At Ikea we were shopping for a light, but came home with cutting boards, a plant, lights, another light, and cinnamon buns. XDDD

Sooo, we ended up spending like $150. Yaay! :D

ARR!
So we did our Piratism presentation today.
Only JUSTIN KEPT LAUGHING and then I couldn't stop. And everyone was generally laughing at us.
But that's alright, because CHRIS SCOTT DID THE 80S. NO JOKE. SYLVESTER STYLONE WAS THEIR GOD. So. Funny.
And then another group had a religion called "Dancisim", where their God was Elvis and every year they gathered at Graceland for 24 hours of dancing on Elvis' birthday. That's my kind of religion XD
So that was a funny class.

Nothing much else exciting happened in any other classes....

Went to chiropractor, shopping, post office, pet store, dollar store, and beer store with Mum this afternoon. That was exciting XD
Now I have lots of yummy foods :)

Still nothing from ASSE. Or Mary Jane on the hardware store job.
I did put in a profile at youngcanadaworks.ca, though. Which sounds kinda neat.

Guess what I made today!! :D
Here's a hint:

I MADE MY OWN BUTTER! :) It took forever and my arms are killing me, but it's aaaalll mine. Yay :)
I wanted to colour it pink with food colouring, to make it cute, but Mum wouldn't let me because she said it was weird and gross XDD~

Also, I got new shoes today! Turns out that St. Laurent Centre was having a huge sidwalk sale today, so I got this super-cute pair of shoes to wear with my kilt at school. Now I can wear uniform shoes and not break my neck!
Lookit!

And um, school, right!
Today started second semester, so a lot of people weren't there and we got one new person. I couldn't tell if it was a girl or a guy until he was introduced as Sebastian o_o
Right. Well. We started on Kanji today. That was fun, I guess.
And we also did stuff with prepositions, because we all suck at those.
And ummm...We did a lot of conversation and learned a lot of new vocab. Oh! And we also did adjectives.
Fun, fun.

Ha. Today's Word of the Day was awesome. (machination: a crafty scheme intended to accomplish some usually evil end.)

Um, dragged myself out of bed early this morning, so I could finish my Japanese homework, which I messed up on twice and only got an OK on XD

We learned stuff like counting people and counting from "100 to...a lot" XD
And we learned how to say years and big numbers and then learned 10 Katakana. Yay! And some words in Katakana. I liked Kuritsumasu. XD And Aisukurimu.

Then Mum took me hairband shopping, so that my hair shall never be boyish again ^o^
I got a pretty one thats red with a beige/blue flowery pattern and ties in the back, a baby blue one with big polka dots, a beige and brown houndstooth, and a soft multi-coloured one :)
Yay.

We were going to go see The Covenant, but then I was too lazy and decided it probably wasn't that great anyway. Or at least I hope it wasn't, otherwise I fail.

Well, today certainly was interesting. Ahem.

We had a sub for Functions, though I'm not really sure why. I was gone down to guidance for most of the class anyway. I went and changed my computer course to chemistry, mostly because I am a wimp and thought I would do horribly bad in a programming course -_-;. Ah well, too late now. I'm sure chemistry won't be too awfully hard. I mean, after all this is St. Mikes. *Snort* I also asked about crediting my OGTS at the Ontario literacy test thinger, but apparently I can't do that. Crap. Now I have to take that retarded test which I know I'm going to pass. Obviously. I passed OGTS, I think I'm literate.

Then in APS we finished up As Good As It Gets and wrote some notes/had discussion on neuro disorders and loveliness like that. Yay, phobias!

Stayed in for lunch, because Tanicia is a loser and was complaining of the cold and rain. Even though it wasn't even raining XD Anyway, had some yummy poutine :) And then we went around yelling things like, "YOU USE CHANGE! I KNOW YOU DO! DON'T DENY IT! GIVE THIS GIRL SOME BILLS!" because we are losers and somehow ended up substituting the word "change" for "drugs." And then we stalked down Taran and yelled at him for using change. And Thomas. Who got very very confused when we started screeching when he showed us his change. XD

In T&T, we started working on this statistics project thinger. Kinda boring, but graphing is easy, so yay for that.

Aaand in Careers we went to the computer lab and worked on our five-year plan crap. Or at least that's what we were supposed to be doing. I have a feeling not many people were. I wasn't really XD Bianca & I had fun being losers :D

Thenthen I came home and Mum and I went to Barhaven for an orthodontist appointment. In which I discovered that in order to fix my teeth I have to have surgery where they cut my lower jaw and advance it and put in a plate to make it stay o____o. In addition to taking out 2 of the teeth on the bottom and taking out my wisdom teeth. ;__; I don't want surgery! Scary!

THEN we went shopping and I found THE MOST AMAZING SHOES EVER OMG. They are beautious! They are perfect for dress shoes avec le uniform and for my flapper costume for Halloween :) They're high heels and sort of victorian styled with the shape and designs in the leather. And they are tied up with ribbon. And are all black. Yum, shoes :)
I also got a pair of those amazing fuzzy socks that make your feet feel like they're in Foot Heaven.
I also got some tights & hairbands for the flapper costume (WTF Walmart, don't have fishnets then) and some AMAZING pirate snoopy PJ pants, and a blue waffle shirt for under my uniform aand a few other little things. Yay shopping! :D

I am so excited to wear my pretty new shoes tomorrow! XD

^Quote from Japanese class XD

We had a seating chart today, and I ended up sitting beside one of the newer peoples. She only started last weekend, which was when I wasn't there, so that was good. I got notes from her. Her name is Gabriela, and I think she may be my age. Anyway, I like her :)
We basically reviewed last class (Using vocab like notebook, pen, watch...), learned family members, learned more hirigana, and played around with kanji, which was fun.
Japanese is actually a really easy language to learn, gramatically. The only hard thing is memorising all the hirigana, katakana, and kanji. Otherwise, I am finding it sooo easy. With practically no verb tenses, no genders it's awesome! :D

After Japanese Mum and I looked around the mall for shoes. I found some nice flats, but they were like 50$ and I was not going to get a pair of flimsy shoes for that much. We also went to Bluenotes and I bought an awesome winter jacket! *Hugs jacket* It's reaaaally nice.

Then we went to a strip mall on Bank Street and looked in Globo for shoes, and still did not find and good ones. Then we went to Winners and still no shoes. Got some yummy smelling shampoo though XD. THEN we went to Walmart, because Mum needed stuff and we ended up getting a bunch of things. THEN THEN we went to Value Village to look for stuff for my flapper costume. I found an AWESOME dress for it and I also got a red and black boa and black feathery gloves. This costume rocks. I still need to get some good shoes to wear and I want to get/make a headband thinger.

So we ended up basically spending the whole day in Ottawa shopping and we finally got home at like 5:30 XD

Tomorrow is the reptile show at the college and I AM SO GOING. YAY SNAKES!
