So here's this meme thats been floating around. Write seven random facts about yourself.

1. I can't stay mad at anyone for more than 1/2 an hour. Seriously. I try to hold grudges, but I just can't. This is why I find it impossible to actually hate anyone. I'm a nice person.

2. You know that lady who owns like 20 cats? Yeah, that's going to be me in the future. I could never have too many cats. Right now my mother limits it to two. I'm heartbroken.

3. I'm minorly OCD about things. I also perform tasks in the same way. Example: when I wash the dishes, I always do the plates, the cutlery, the cups, and then the rest. I always put on my make-up the exact same way. I eat food in order. I don't freak out or anything if I don't do things this way, its just irritating.

4. I actually like America more than my homeland Canada. Probably because I lived there during my key years. I like Kemptville, but only for the people, not for the land itself.

5. I have this insane desire to visit Antarctica, even though I despise the cold.

6. Apparently I am attracted to older, balding men. Yes. I find the likes of Alan Rickman and Alton Brown attractive. And then there's Elvis, who's not even alive anymore...According to popular opinion.

7. "What I want to be when I grow up" ranges from historian to chef to hotel manager to journalist. I have ideas, plenty of ideas, but no definite plans. I suspect I'll try out archeology, though.

Since you asked for it... )

Now that I'm less lazy, I'll add in some details too.
I basically followed this recipe.

I started out with about 6 pounds of beef and added in the ingredients to basically make meatloaf. Next time I might add some more spices or garlic or something because the meat was a tiny bit dull, IMO.
Then I patted down the meat into 3 disposable cake tin things. And baked them. The meat really shrank up around the edges and was not all pretty and cake-shaped when it came time to be removed from the oven :(

So I made up the ketchup glaze (which I had waaaay too much of, because I didn't put any on the top of the cake). And I leveled off the meat cakes, stacked them, and ketchuped in between.

Then I made the potatoe flake potatoes (ew) and slathered them on the cake. This proved VERY difficult at first, so I added a ton more milk to make it thinner. Then the icing went on much easier. And I put some leftover potatoes in a bag, cut the end, inserted a tip, and piped on the potatoe icing details.

And I topped the cake with a sprig of mint!

Next time I may try using potatoes in between layers so they stick better. I had a bit of a problem when cutting it with the layers falling apart. Also, I would just do 2 layers, because 3 is a tiny bit excessive.

Ta da!
