So last night was the final showing of Walk Down Broadway.

Mum drove me in for 6 and I hung with Cassie at the table until the doors opened. There was this massive line of people - all the way out the door. And then I peeked inside and the chairs were literally 2 meters away from the stage. So I sat in the second row, rather than the first.

The play itself was awesome. They had a stellar closing night. There were a few mistakes (like Sam tripping over the microphone on the stage and then laughing and clearly side-stepping it when he had to walk back) but nothing major and everything was covered up well.
During the Because We Can song from Moulin Rouge, Jessica came up (there are girls dressed as can can dancers) and laid across me and Tanicia, haha! And Debra kissed Kaitlyn on the EAR. She was not impressed.
I clapped and cheered and screamed a lot and my throat is completely shot now.

So after the play I gave the flower I bought to Thomas (who gave it to Rebecca, I later found out, because she didn't get one :( ) and waited for everyone to clear out. Then I somehow got recruited to go help Kaitlyn and Kristen clean up Kristen's mess. When that was done we went to eat!
I didn't eat much because I was full and not feeling hungry, so I just had a small piece of cake. It was pretty good, but there was a bit too much icing :S

Afterwards there was the long speeches part. It was Kathleen's last performance ever, so there were lots of tears and her mum (Barb - the director) made a speech. Robert and Liam put together some clips of Kathleen's performances for us to watch, but Robert is apparently retarded and can't find the play button..? Yeah everyone was yelling at him and Liam got all mad and was like, "LISTEN UP! IT'S ROBERT, NOT ME!" hahahaha. I love these people.

So after all that stuff was done, there was music! But the dancing kind of sucked because we only have 1/2 an hour left and the lights were all on too bright. Me and Kaitlyn sat on the stage and had our own little party and then we danced for a bit.

Finally, at 1:15 AM, it was over. I helped Thomas (really I just followed him around haha) and then Helen drove me home!

All in all, an excellent night...Now I have to find some energy somewhere and go to Japanese lessons for 3 hours. Ugh.

Just in case anyone cared, my feet are dieing.
Why did I volunteer to work all day today? WHY.

Oh, right.

Bigger paycheck XD
Which means more money for Japan/Potential New York Trip.

OH YEAH
I don't remember if I wrote about it already or not, but Mrs. Girard is actually seriously planning a New York trip. HECK YES.
If it's not too expensive, I am so going. New York + Art class = amazing.
Those people (read: Dustin and his beavers) rock my day.

Umm, Mum's out of town to Massachusetts this weekend doing horseshow stuffs. She's coming back late tonight and then leaving again on Tuesday or Wednesday or something for Guelph. Then she's gone for 2 or 3 weeks doing who-knows-what.
But Ellen (random student person who is cool and lives in Ottawa) is looking after me and Mary Jane and Helen/Thomas/Paul are too :)
I have apparently been invited over for supper with Helen/Paul/Thomas? Yay?
Speaking of which, they came in to work today XD
And then Thomas stayed and entertained me for like 1/2 an hour o_o
He was "going to ask Blair about the job he applied for".
*cough*

Also! KYMTC's september musical is called something like "A Walk Down Broadway" and it's comprised of a bunch of songs from all different musicals.
"Featuring songs from Les Miserables, Moulin Rouge, Rent, Hunchback of Notredame, Wicked, Hairspray, The Aristocats, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Little Mermaid."
It should be neat. I'm going to try and get Kaitlyn to get me a job backstage. I really want to be a bigger part of the show. Oh, how I wish I could sing D:

Umm, called up Nathan the other day. :)
It felt good to talk with one a friend from "the old home". I miss Ohio a lot.
I am glad I came here, because I've grown up a lot, changed a lot, gained lots of insight, and started to create my own philosophy (I LOVE YOU MRS DAVIS) and I have a life. I have a job, I am planning an exchange, I take driver's ed. I have gained confidence. I am happy with myself.
But I don't need to stay here now. I understand it was an important part of my life to come here, but I also understand that I felt the most at home in Ohio. It's weird, because I'm Canadian, but when I'm in America I feel home.
Also, I'm idealistic and live in the 19th century.

BUT NEVERMIND THAT.

So I guess that's it for now, since I've run out of things to say :P

Oh, I've been watching some Firefly lately because I am lacking in a power cord currently, so I really shouldn't be using up my precious computer battery, but I have re-realised my love for Firefly. Also, commentary rocks.
