Last night was amazing.

After work and eating supper, Liam and Thomas came to pick me up. We drove over to Cassie's house; she lives near Marc in the same subdivision.
When we got there, everyone else was already there (we were a bit late). Everyone else being Cassie, Marc, Bryn (Marc's girlfriend), Ella, and Dan.
I spent the first little while watching people play Guitar Hero and then taking a stab (a pitiful one at that) at it myself, while Thomas played Wii with Liam and Marc.
After we were all sufficiently amused by Guitar Hero, we sat down to play Disney Scene it. It was pretty sad that we were all doing badly except for Cassie! And then on one of the all play questions where it slowly reveals the letters, only Marc got that it was The Princess Diaries. He was pretty proud of himself.
By the time we figured Cassie was going to beat us all regardless, it was 9:30 or so. So we all went and got changed in the various rooms in Cassie's crazy basement. Then we went upstairs and out to the hot tub....only we had to walk across a snow-covered porch, down the snow-covered stairs, across a piece of lawn and into the hot tub!! We were all yelling and screaming and holy crap the hot tub made our cold feet burn! And because all 8 of us got in to a fairly small hot tub, the water overflowed and shut it off and we couldn't see to get it back on! So Cassie had to get a flashlight and wade through knee-deep snow to the electrical outlet box thing and turn the hot tub back on!
We sat in the hot tub for a while, just warming up and then it started to snow. Pretty hard. So we were all covered in snow on our heads. Then someone...maybe Liam or Dan, decided we should run around the house (we decided against running to the road because there was a big ditch). So A bunch of us, including me, jumped out and started running around the house (it's a pretty big house)! The first little bit was alright, but BLOODY FREEZING! And then when we got around the front of the house, the snowdrifts were so hight I could barely move! It was crazy!! My legs were burning for the rest of night, but it was crazy fun!!
We stayed in the hot tub a little longer to warm up, and then we realized that we had left our towels and sweaters outside hanging on the railing of the stairs to the porch and now that it was like, blizzarding, they were all covered in snow!! So we ran out of the hot tub, grabbed our towels as fast as we could (I ended up grabbing Bryn's and she grabbed mine), and running inside to huddle by the door and drip dry.
After we all changed back into dry clothes, we played a bit more Guitar Hero and then Dan put in this Arnold movie called True Lies, which we basically just watched because Arnold is hilarious. By the time we were about an hour into the movie, it was already 12 AM, so we turned it off and we all went home (save for Marc and Bryn, who went home a little earlier).
Liam drove me home and I basically collapsed into bed.

Grr.
I'm in a bit of a bad mood as I'm STILL BLOODY SICK!!!
I'm really angry about this because on Monday I was feeling 10 times better and really good and now I'm nearly back where I started. The only thing that's gone is the sore throat, but now I've acquired a cough. I was at Alisha's this morning (actually, I've been there since Tuesday evening) pretty much dieing in the bedroom of coughing until finally she got me some water. That helped a bit.
I'm also annoyed because my dothost website with my Japan blog has disappeared into the netherworlds of the internet AGAIN!! Grr. So I've decided to screw my own website and just find a reliable blog provider instead. Not sure what provider I'll use yet, but I'm looking at wordpress. Ho hum.

Also, I'd like to mention that I AM FOREVER DONE WITH CANADIAN HIGH SCHOOL!!!
Okay, well not really, because I'll need to take 2 courses in 2009, but I'll do those by correspondence.
THE NEXT TIME I GO TO SCHOOL WILL BE IN JAPAN!

1) Yesterday at Japanese (only 6 of us showed up due to an anime convention. Figures) Shirakawa sensei made Kanji names for us. My name is 亜二矢, which is translated to asia two arrows. I like it :D

2) Thomas's friend Marc had a scary movie night/party thing at his house last night. Liam and Thomas picked me up after work and we drove to Marc's. Altogether it was me, Liam, Thomas, Marc, Cassie, Ella, and Dan. I love all these people, they're so nice :)
First we watched House on Haunted Hill - yes the old 1950s version. And OMG IT WAS HILARIOUS. We totally cracked up at the old crazy blind "caretaker lady" who just rolled around the wine cellar with her hands up like claws. wtf.
Then we went outside and played manhunt in the dark. That was fun. The first game, me and Marc hid under his car and we were the last two to be found. Second game, I hid under this tree near the front on the property and I was the last to be found. Third game I was found third because I guess my hiding spot (behind the hot tub) was a pretty common one. Then we went inside because Liam was angry that he lost, we were cold, and Marc's mum made rocky road bars :D
After we ate rocky road bars we went back up to the loft (Marc had this projection screen set up and Liam played the movies off of his computer....which had FOUR HARD DRIVES. FOUR!) and watched Halloween. That was a little more scary but still hilarious. We laughed for the rest of the night about how the killer came into the annoying girl's room wearing a sheet and big 70s sunglasses overtop and just stood there staring at the girl.
After that we watched The Flight of the Crowe, which was a movie that Liam, Ella, Dan, Marc, and some other people made. They do this often :P Their movies are great, though. Liam is a sweet filmer. When that was over Dan and Ella went home and so Cassie, me, Marc, Thomas, and Liam played cards (cheat and spoons) until Robert (Thomas's brother) came and picked us up.

On Friday evening, after work, Alisha came to pick me up and take me to her house for a sleepover. It's her birthday next Friday (the 24th), so we're celebrating. She's going to be away for her actual birthday.

Anyway, at Alisha's house Kaitlyn and Tanicia were waiting downstairs. We spent the night inside, eating pizza, drinking Pepsi, and watching Disney movies. We were going to go to the South Mountain Fair, but decided to go on Saturday instead because of the rain.

Finally, we decided to go to bed, because I had to work the next morning. We were sleeping outside Alisha's door in a tent. We brought out 7 blankets and 2 mattresses. Turns out 7 blankets was definitely NOT enough to keep us warm in the rain, wind, and 10 degree weather. SO COLD. We all nearly froze to death that night!

So at 7 am the next morning we all ran inside to be warm. Ahhhh, so nice! I got ready for work and ate a grilled cheese for breakfast. Then Alisha's dad drove me to work.

Work was pretty boring, but James makes it fun. It's been slower, now that the construction is right on our doorstep.

After work, I went home and Alisha picked me up at 6. We ate supper at her house (pork shishkabobs) and then her dad drove us to South Mountain for the fair. The fair was pretty fun, but the rides were a little disturbing. We went on one that spins you around so fast that you are pushed against the back (you know, that one...) and I was concerned by the fact that the ride was MADE FROM WOOD. It was old school. Tanicia and I also went into a fun house, where you had to make your way through a maze of mirrors and glass. So confusing! We were led by some little kid; it was pretty funny. And of course, we went on the Scrambler. Kaitlyn didn't go on ANY rides because she's weird like that. Oh, and we tried to get on the merry-go-round, but apparently we were too old :(

AND I ATE A FRIED MARS BAR. OMG. It was funny, it had a little arm of batter sticking out, and Kaitlyn was like, "If there are organs inside, don't eat it." and the guy running the stand was like, "Yeah, that was taking it a bit too far." XD! Anyway, it wasn't very good because it was basically just melted chocolate in dough AKA heart attack on a stick. But I've satisfied my curiosity.

And then we discovered the games. And Kaitlyn, being crazy and the Master Marksman, went obsessive with the pellet gun game and didn't stop until she won a big green dinosaur. I played twice and won a smaller purple dinosaur. I also won a little kangaroo, but I gave it to Tanicia. Yay, I shot a (fake) gun :D!

So that was fun. And we brought out 11 blankets for our second night outside and that was much better.

Sunday at work was sooo boring. Blair doesn't even bother coming in because it's that slow and I guess he trusts us to run the store. We made like 500$ that day (very sad).

Anyway, I was supposed to work 11-2 today, but I felt like complete crap when I came in and Robin and James yelled at me until I agreed to go home. I felt kind of bad about not working, especially since it was the last time I would see James (I LOVE YOU JAMES!!!! XD), but I went home and slept and I feel much better now.

I watched some episodes of BBC's Bleak House today. I like it a lot! Excellent acting for an excellent story.

So that's pretty much what I've been up to lately. I'm excited for school to start, which is September 4th. I am so bored and I can't wait to be a Senior!

LAST DAY!!! :(

Okay so, we were a little late this morning because Phoebe had to load all her stuff into the car and mum had to stop for gas and stop at her office. I got Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows finished up to the Epilogue, though.

Even though we were late, we hurried upstairs and got dressed - only 5 minutes late. Had morning announcements and then set off under and umbrella because it was RAINING!!!

Dropped Phoebe off at the Dressmaker's and I went to Tenant farm. Barbara was there today, and I know her from Loucks. We started off by making a white cake for tea today. Then Amanda came and she helped out as well. Amanda went off to school, and Lynne came to replace Barbara for her break. We mixed some cookie dough for ginger snaps, baked the white cake I made with red currants, and set the table for tea.

At noon I went and picked up Phoebe (it had stopped raining by then, thankfully) and we went to the Montgomery house for lunch. After lunch we used the pressed dried flowers from last weekend to make our bookmarks while the boys played checkers.

When we were finished our bookmarks (Which was quite funny. Nancy kept saying: "THIS WOULD MAKE A NICE SKIRT!" and Kimberly kept mimicking her :P Also, Darlene was off on a pink flower tangent) we all headed over to the Tinsmith for Nigel's presentation on lead. We learned that the Romans would grate up lead and put it on their food because it tastes sweet. Lovely.

When Nigel was finished we all walked back to our stations. Amanda and I did the dishes and then baked a griddle of cookies before tea. We just got one griddle done before we had to eat. We had my white cake with currants, the leftover raisin pudding from yesterday, and biscuits with raspberry preserves. Yuuum. I was SO FULL after all that.

We did the dishes and cleaned up a bit and then we had to head over to the Fairgrounds for baseball. Right before we left, Amanda's grandma and Phoebe's parents and my mum all came in and snapped about 5 million pictures >_>!

Then Amanda and I and our "posse" walked to the Fairgrounds. When Nancy came, she explained that we weren't going to play baseball because it was too wet. Instead we played these ridiculous singing games, The Farmer in the Dell and Ring Around the Rosey and The Grand Ol' Duke of York. We basically had to sing and do a sort of dance while we were singing. Farmer in the Dell was pretty funny. We went through the verses and then at "the farmer takes a wife" the appointed "farmer" had to choose someone from the circle (which was going to the left) to be the "wife" and the "wife" had to join the "farmer" in the middle of the circle and so forth with "the wife takes the child" and "the child takes the nurse" etc. The last person was the knife and then we all clapped for the knife. Amanda was the knife twice :P Nigel chose me to be his wife ^o^(I am a nerd :P)
The Grand Ol' Duke of York was more confusing and it involved lining up in pairs and going through human arches. Rather confusing.

Finally the games were finished and it was time to go change and bring our dirty clothes down to the baskets. We all met up at the Gate and got everyone's email addresses and said our good-byes. Nigel drove home, and we were scared :P

Then Phoebe, her parents, my mum, and I drove to this truck stop in Cardinal for dinner. I just had a small italian poutine (fries, spaghetti sauce, cheese curds) and couldn't even finish it because I was still full from tea. Then Phoebe and I said our good-byes! Now I am home and it is quiet. And my arms hurt from pulling Nigel around during the games.

Well, this morning started out great - I was busy talking to Phoebe and we missed the exit onto the highway XD
Silly Anje. So I did a u-turn on CR-44 because luckily, there were no cars.

Got there, got dressed, went to Tenant farm. Libby was cooking today, and John was in the barn. No Derek :(
Started out by helping Libby prepare for dinner - peeling cucumbers and carrots, etc. Made some of those vinegar & sugar cucumbers again! Amanda came and she helped out as well with the chicken.

We had Sunday school at 11:15, so we left early to get our hoops on. The YIPs had their stagecoach ride, so we started a little later. We didn't do much, just sang and studied catechisms and books of the new testament. Miss Perry is always fun, though.

After Sunday school, I went back to the Quiet House, changed out of my hoop (with Amanda), and then me and Amanda walked back to the Tenant farm for dinner, stopping at the bakery for the bread on the way.

Dinner was delicious, and I didn't over-eat this time! We had chicken, potatoes and onions, carrots and turnips, cucumbers in vinegar with onions, and fresh bread. Yum. P

Phoebe was giving her presentation at 12:35, so Amanda and I had to leave before dessert. Phoebe's presentation was good; I learned a lot about aprons, actually. When that was done, Amanda and I walked back to Tenant farm.

At 2:00 was the church service at Christ Church, so I left early to pick up Phoebe and get my hoop on AGAIN. Church was boring and long and stifling hot as usual. Glad that's over at least. When church was over, Phoebe and I walked back to the Quiet House, where we changed out of our hoops AGAIN!!! (so much changing and walking!)

Then we walked to the Dressmaker and I went on my way to Tenant farm. I helped Amanda and Libby make a pastry dough for the chicken pie we made with dinner's leftovers. I had just enough time to clean up a bit before I had to go to help set up for the Sunday school picnic. I also stopped at Loucks to inform Forrest that the piglets were in our cow pen. Crazy pigs ran all the way down to Tenant farm!

Phoebe and I went to the Shoemaker's to borrow a table to set the cookies and lemonade on. Everyone started to arrive after that, and we sat outside, waiting for Nancy. Finally she came, and then we went inside the church to do the play. I wasn't in the play, so I just watched. It was called Has Father Been Here and it was like 2 minutes long. :P

When the play was over, we went back outside to play games! We had sack races and egg and spoon races and two relays. Then we played tug o' war. My team one! We one the first tug, lost the second, and one the last. After we were all tired out, we gathered around the table to eat cookies and drink lemonade. Phoebe and I served the lemonade. Sooo nice and refreshing.

Then it was time to change and go home!

(Phoebe and I got home and were informed that we were going over to Thomas's for supper. We had steak, potatoes, and beans. It was good. Then we went out and rented 300, which was....Interesting. SPAAARTAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!)

Yes, I haven't really updated for a whileeee....

Well, last Tuesday I went to Guelph to use up my train tickets/visit friends.
Spent Tuesday and most of Wednesday with Amy...Doing nothing XD
We are lazy.

Then I went to Phoebe's on Wednesday evening, spent Thursday there (YAY SHOPPING!!!), and was supposed to leave Friday morning....
Yeah, that didn't happen.
Some aboriginals were angry about land disputes or something, and decided to block the train tracks...Thanks, guys.
So I was stranded in Guelph until Saturday morning and as such I missed Friday and Saturday work.
I was happy that Blair didn't kill me or anything, though.

Then Sunday was CANADA DAAAAY!!!!!!!
Mum had volunteered me to help with the cotton candy, but then the cotton candy machine broke. So I ended up being the "official" photographer. Which was fun! I liked it a lot. I hope I got some good shots.
Anyway, here's a picture of the fireworks!!
(My favourite one)

So last night mum and I went to an SCA meeting/small gathering thing.
Actually there was 6 of us, including me and mum. *ahem*
Anyway, that was because of the ren faire thing mum is wanting to put on. I think it will be sooo awesome :)

Coming up on my schedule is my driver's test on the 17th (eeeeeekkk!!!!) and then UCV starts on the 21st!! YAYYY!! :D

So! Philosophy exam today went well!
Mr. Evans is hilarious he spent 10 minutes "explaining" (read: giving us the answers" the exam to us.
He's all like, "Uh, yeah, so for the multiple choice you do something like circle A for question four...ahem."
XDDD

Then Kaitlyn gave me and Tanicia a ride to my house and Tanicia and I watched spirited away...And fell asleep XDDD
Then Tanicia went home..

Tonight, possibly doing some driving (G1 EXIT TEST IN LESS THAN A MONTH!) and going grocery shopping. There is NOTHING to eat here.

Also, EXACTLY ONE MONTH UNTIL UCV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS. Weather, wtf?
